False is this world, And false are all its attachments: The Master alone is the Truth, And His love alone is true! For the sake of that love, Renounce all else: And with the Beloved Master, Secure a bond of love! Of what use to you is the world, And its grandeur, honours and vanity? Property and wealth, Are but snares of avarice! If it is deliverance that you seek, Beg for the Master's mercy: And at His lotus feet, Bathe in the fountain of His grace!
