Today clarinets play at my house, And many are the felicitations that I have received! For this very saint, I was sending out my pleas: And each moment I was remembering him in the depth of my heart! He bestowed his glance on me, and granted me his blessings: He poured his grace on me, and seated me at his lotus feet! Out of his mercy, he spoke to me his words of grace: And opening the intervening doors, He showed me the kingdom of the Spirit! Each day I beg for the dust of his door: And each day I gaze upon his lustre divine! Athirst each moment, I am for his company, And a slave unto his door I am, says Nuri Nimani! ☼ |
