Merciful One be Thy very name, Pray do not take into account, my sins and misdeeds! I desire not, association with the world, and its affairs, O Lord, pray seat me at the place, where abides Thy Name Divine! Unto Thy door have I come, As a beggar I have come unto Thy door, Pray guide me across this fearsome ocean, and unto the destination, reach me! O Merciful One, grant me Thy mercy, And make this human birth of mine, worthwhile and fruitful! Wandering I have been in this land of illusion, Pray grant a drink of Thy water of grace, to this thirsty traveller! Apart from Thee, naught else do I seek, O Beloved, For false through and through, is this world! How can I reach the Land of Light Eternal? In Thy grace, pray do discipline my mind! I desire not feasting and drinking, nor indeed anything else, For false and illusory are the world and its affairs!
