Recently, Dada J.P.Vaswani referred to some Chinese proverbs, rich in the wisdom of life. One of these he said, was as follows:- “If you want to be happy for an hour, go and take a nap! Dada J.P.Vaswani expressed joy and gratitude that this week, February 18th to February 24th was being celebrated as THANKSGIVING WEEK in India and all over the world. “Daily”, Dada said “you all are uttering the name of the Lord and serving the needy. I thank you! This is what beloved master, Sadhu Vaswani and other saints have said, that if you wish to express gratitude to the Lord, go and serve the poor, the helpless, the orphans, the widows and the sick. But do not think that YOU are serving them – We are but instruments through which the Lord is working. All glory be to God, not mine but Thine be the glory, O Lord. Those who work with this sentiment – are richly blessed and the ones they serve are blessed also.” The Sadhu Vaswani Center, Colon, organized service programs for the whole week from 17th to 22nd February 2003, in different shelters, and orphanages and old peoples homes in Colon. The main event of service was on the 22nd of February.
